General Education Outcomes Assessment at UCSC

General Education (GE) outcomes assessment is the process of evaluating the extent to which students have developed foundational skills through general education courses during their first few years at UCSC.

Similar to program learning outcomes (PLO) assessment, the goal of GE outcomes assessment is to learn more about what is working well and what can be improved within the general education course curriculum, in order to leverage this knowledge to improve student learning and advance equity.
