The Assessment for Learning Excellence and Equity Center is now part of the Academic Affairs Division. ALEEC specialists support assessment of student learning across all academic programs at UCSC. We work with faculty to conduct research that promotes the continuous improvement of teaching and learning in order to advance equity in students’ academic success.
Our mission is to support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning
by partnering with UCSC faculty, departments, and learning support programs
to assess student learning with an equity-minded approach,
foster a culture of assessment, and develop evidence-based best practices.
